चुनार क्लब वेलफेयर सोसाइटी द्वारा 51 टीबी मरीजों को कंबल वितरण | Chunar Club Welfare Society Distributes Blankets

Community service is most meaningful when it reaches people at the right time and with the right intent. Keeping this belief at its core, Chunar Club Welfare Society organized a winter relief initiative to support tuberculosis (TB) patients in the Chunar region.

Under this initiative, 51 TB patients were provided with warm blankets at the Primary Health Centre (PHC), Chunar, offering much-needed protection during the cold season.

Program Details

The blanket distribution programme was conducted in the presence of Dr. Rakesh Kumar Patel, In-charge Medical Officer at PHC Chunar. The event was coordinated with the local health administration to ensure transparency and effective outreach.

During the programme, Satish Shankar Yadav, District Coordinator from the TB Department, addressed the patients and attendees. He explained:

  • Early symptoms of tuberculosis

  • The importance of timely diagnosis

  • Availability of free government-supported TB treatment and medicines

  • The need for regular medication and proper nutrition

He also encouraged patients to complete their full course of treatment and spread awareness within their communities to help achieve the national goal of a TB-free India.

Dr. Rakesh Kumar Patel advised all patients to take medicines regularly and follow medical guidance strictly, emphasizing that discipline in treatment plays a critical role in recovery.

Beyond Medical Aid: Restoring Dignity

Tuberculosis often comes with social stigma, financial stress, and emotional challenges. This initiative was designed not merely as a welfare activity, but as a gesture of care, dignity, and reassurance for those undergoing long-term treatment.

Speaking on the occasion, Sarvesh Singh, Chairman of Chunar Club Welfare Society, shared that social responsibility must go beyond awareness campaigns and extend into consistent, ground-level action.

“True service lies in standing with people during their most difficult phases. Small acts, when done with sincerity, can restore hope and confidence.”

Continued Commitment to Community Welfare

Chunar Club Welfare Society has been actively involved in social service for several years, focusing on:

  • Public health support

  • Relief assistance during extreme weather

  • Cultural and heritage-based community engagement

  • Awareness initiatives in rural and semi-urban areas

The organization reaffirmed its commitment to continue such initiatives in the future, including additional support for TB patients through nutrition assistance and seasonal relief drives.

Conclusion

The blanket distribution drive stands as a reminder that meaningful social change begins at the grassroots level. When civil society organizations, healthcare professionals, and local administration work together, even modest initiatives can create lasting impact.

Chunar Club Welfare Society remains dedicated to building a healthier, more compassionate, and inclusive community one step at a time.
